We turn to the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) for clarity and measurable standards. ISO sets and maintains all kinds of standards for business and industry, and ISO-certified systems meet management standards that are recognized worldwide.

ISO standards require rigorous system verification, a third party registrar audited our system in May of 2003. CMS proudly passed ISO 9001:2000 with flying colors.

ISO standards enable us to practice continual improvement in processes as well as keeping a constant eye on superior quality of our products.

RoHs Compliance

Effective July 1, 2006 a Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) mandate (European Union Directive 2002/95/EC) regarding electrical and electronic products was instituted within the European Union. The RoHS mandate aims to protect human health and the environment by restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in new equipment, and consists of restrictions on lead, mercury, cadmium and other substances.

As of July1, 2006, CMS Products has shipped products that meet or exceed industry standards and comply with RoHS requirements.

WEEE Compliance

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive was developed to minimize the disposing of electrical and electronic equipment into landfills. CMS Products complies with this directive and includes the WEEE symbol in support of this directive on its products.
