Instant PC Recovery
The included BounceBack Ultimate software enables you to back up your entire hard drive, including operating system, registry, data files, applications, pictures, video, financial documents, settings and everything! Using our patent pending Instant PC Recovery mode, you can now start your PC or laptop directly from the ABSplus backup hard drive on the USB port if you encounter an operating system malfunction or even a failed internal hard drive. Not all backup solutions were created equal, with many external hard drive backup systems, usually all you get is a simple backup program to backup photos and music etc. With the ABSplus and BounceBack Ultimate, you have a full-featured disaster recovery solution which allows you to Restart, Resume, Relax and at a time of your convenience Restore.
The Disaster Recovery Solution with Options
The ABSplus is the most versatile backup solution when it comes to disaster recovery. You can recover from a failed or corrupted drive quickly using any of the following options:
- Instant PC Recovery – When starting your computer in Instant PC Recovery mode, all of your programs and data will work the same from the backup drive, allowing you to continue using your computer shortly after the interruption, or perform a full recovery from backup onto the internal hard drive with a single mouse click. Industry analysts agree, this is the fastest way to recover use of your PC following a system disk problem.
- Restore Utility – Click on Restore complete system from within the BounceBack Control Centre
- Rescue CD – Boot from the CMS Rescue CD, then use the Rescue Utility to perform a byte for byte restore from backup onto the internal drive.
- Drive Swap – Install the drive from the ABSplus in your laptop and recover
Always Up To Date with Continuous Data Protection
The ABSplus backup is always up to date with current backup data. BounceBack Ultimate includes Continuous Data Protection (CDP), keeping newly created or modified files or installed applications backed up. Backup To Multiple Destinations
To make your backup strategy even more powerful than having a spare hard drive, you can now backup copies of your files to the ABSplus in addition to a network drive or other externally connected hard drive at the same time simply by enabling the Parallel Backup feature when you configure your backup settings.
Synchronize Data Between Work and Home
With Synchronization enabled within BounceBack Ultimate, it’s very easy to transfer your most up to date files onto the ABSplus drive, and then take the ABSplus with you so you can work on the files while the ABSplus is attached to another PC. When you return to the original PC just plug in the ABSplus and it automatically synchronizes, copying the newer files onto the PC from the ABSplus.
